It appears that if you were thinking about selling your home in Manitowoc County, now is the time.
According to a report by the Wisconsin Realtors Association, the average price for a home in Manitowoc County in December rose 8.5% from the same month in 2019, $124,000 to $134,500.
The number of homes that were sold in December also took a huge jump from 76 in 2019 to 99 this past month. That is an increase of over 30%. Homes stayed on the market for an average of 91 days, which is a 7.1% decrease from last December.
This trend was also throughout all of last year, as the median price rose 10.3% from 2019 up to $134,500. Also, 9.2% more homes were sold in 2020 compared to 2019, totaling 1,153 sales.
These numbers were similar to the trend statewide last year, as the median price rose 11.4% in Wisconsin, while 7.3% more homes were sold compared to 2019.
