Authorities in Wood County say a man who cut himself during a court hearing is now listed in serious condition.
The man’s name hasn’t been released.
Deputies were called to the courthouse Tuesday at about 2:00 p-m for a man who was causing a disturbance.
The man, who was due for a court hearing, snuck a razor blade into the courthouse.
Witnesses say he began openly cutting himself in the courtroom.
Deputies were able to stop him and administer first aid until paramedics arrived.
