The Green Bay School Board has voted, and students will be coming back to the classrooms, however not until teachers are able to get the COVID -19 vaccine.
It is not clear when all teachers will be able to get the shot, but the District did not say that teachers are required to get it. Only that they all must be on the list of eligible recipients.
While the return date is not known yet, we do know that students would be able to return in phases, starting three weeks after vaccines are available to teachers.
The state recently announced that people 65 and older will be on the vaccination list on Monday, with the next phase group being voted on this week.
