We are amid exciting times for football fans, as the Green Bay Packers have advanced to the NFC Championship game, where they will face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
However, Brown County and Green Bay City officials are concerned at photos taken during the Packers’ win over the Rams on Saturday. People were photographed in large numbers inside bars near Lambeau Field, many without masks, which is technically not illegal but is highly discouraged.
City and County officials called the photos “concerning”, and said they are working on a response to the situation for this Sunday’s game.
A joint statement from Brown County Public Health, Green Bay Police, De Pere Health Department, Oneida Nation Public Health, and the Brown County Tavern League is expected sometime today.
