The Two Rivers City Council is the only City organization meeting today in the Cool City.
They will be gathering in the Council Chambers at 6:00 PM, where they will start with a couple of public hearings. These will include a resolution authorizing the submittal of a Community Development Block Grant application, and another on the adoption of an updated citizen participation plan related to that grant.
City Manager Greg Buckley will be issuing his State of the City Report as well, before giving some updates on several city projects, including the splash pad and skating rink.
The Council will also be entering a closed session to discuss possible city assistance to some unspecified economic development projects, the status of negotiations regarding the former Hamilton Property, a potential property sale, and a contractual relationship with Progress Lakeshore.
