
Two men in their 20s suffered what has been termed serious injuries in a crash on I-41 over the weekend.
According to Lt. Jason McAuly of the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, a blue 2017 Chevy Silverado pickup truck was traveling northbound on I-41 at around 4:00 PM on Sunday, when it struck a barrier head-on by the Shawano Ave exit in the Village of Howard.
The vehicle sustained severe front-end damage and all three occupants from the Oconto area were injured.
The 21-year old male driver was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of alcohol and is receiving medical treatment at an area hospital. The 21 and 22-year old male passengers received severe injuries and are also being treated at an area hospital.
The crash is being investigated by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office.
