A local registered investment advisor says he’s optimistic about the Stock Market long-term as the Biden Administration takes office later this week.
George Reis, President of GVR Investment Management Inc., in Two Rivers tells Seehafer News he feels pretty positive but added “We could have a slight correction (in the market) in February.”
George Reis cautions investors that they “can’t be market timers…they have to invest in quality companies whose earnings continue to increase and I think they’ll be well satisfied.”
From his perspective, Reis believes the “political factor is over-emphasized in terms of analyzing what the Stock Market is going to do.”
I think a lot of that has to do with what companies are going to do and there’s going to be an infusion of money, infrastructure, etc and also the comparables, for example, if you compare the 3rd quarter of 2021 to the 3rd quarter of 2020 results should be very favorable because results were down due to the coronavirus.”
