The University of Wisconsin women’s hockey team is adding some firepower. The Badgers announced that Princeton commit Lacey Eden will join the team for the rest of the season.
The freshman winger was planning to skate for the Tigers before the Ivy League cancelled play.
Eden played on a line with Badgers freshmen Makenna Webster and Casey O’Brien at Shattuck-St. Mary’s prep school in Minnesota last season. She scored 48 goals and had 111 points in 50 games.
Eden is expected to be available for today’s (Friday) series opener against the top-ranked Golden Gophers at LaBahn Arena.
