The Green Bay Area Public Schools board has announced that they will be meeting next Tuesday (January 19th) to reconsider their gating criteria to bring students back to school, in-person.
This meeting will be held virtually and will start at 5:00 PM. The school board has continuously been discussing bringing students back, with some pushing for a quick return, and others wanting to wait until it is safer to do so.
Even if the students are not learning in person, the board did make their lives a little easier, when they waived the need for 7 elective class credits to graduate.
That is only a temporary order and will be restored, likely for next year’s seniors.
