Michigan hasn’t just been beating its highly-ranked opponents, it’s been burying them.
Michigan has beaten three top 10 teams this year by an average of 22 points-a-game.
The Wolverines built a 40-point lead on Wisconsin in the second half Tuesday while beating the Badgers 77-54. Wisconsin closed the game on a 25-8 run to keep the final score from being more embarrassing. During a stretch in the middle of the Big Ten contest, Michigan went on a 43-to-6 run.
Only D’Mitrik Trice was able to score with any regularity, finishing with 20 points.
Wisconsin’s record falls to 10-and-3, including 4-and-2 in the Big Ten. The Badgers return to action Friday night at Rutgers.
