Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers says he hopes his big donation to the Barstool Fund encourages teammates, coaches, the N-F-L, and his sponsors to join him.
During an Instagram live session Friday, Rodgers announced his gift of $500,000.
The Barstool Fund helps small businesses that are struggling during the coronavirus pandemic. The fund has raised more than $21-million so far.
Rodgers isn’t the first celebrity to jump on board.
He says the Barstool Fund doles out “life-changing money” to businesses, and they get it much more quickly than it comes from government programs.
