There are a pair of meetings scheduled to start this week in Manitowoc.
First up will be the Manitowoc Public Utilities Commission, who will convene at 4:00 PM in the PU Conference Room.
They will be looking over the annual Progress Lakeshore contribution, and the bi-monthly water reading docket, before receiving an update from the General Manager. They will also be looking over quotes for several items, including the purchase of an electric vehicle, water truck, and a power plant truck.
Then at 5:30 PM, the Public Safety Committee will convene in the Council Chambers in City Hall.
After looking over several reports, they will be looking over several citizen requests. These include reducing the speed limit on the west end of Waldo Boulevard from 35 MPH to 25 MPH, removing three parking spaces in front of Strand Adventures, and for unlimited parking on South 14th Street between Washington and Marshal Streets.
