The attic of a home in Allouez caught fire Saturday evening.
The chimney of the home in the 100 block of Gwynn Street caught fire at around 7:20 PM, and fire crews were called to the scene. The fire did spread to the attic before the crews arrived, but they were able to bring the blaze under control within about 10 minutes of arriving.
No injuries were reported, but officials say the home experienced heavy damage at one end of the structure, estimated to be around $75,000 worth.
Two people were displaced as a result of the fire.
