A self-described “Caravan Against Fascism” marched from Capitol Square to Senator Ron Johnson’s office Saturday, demanding the Wisconsin Republican’s immediate resignation.
Organizers put the effort together after last week’s insurrection at the U-S Capitol. It called the storming of the Capitol an “attempted fascist coup by Trump supporters.”
A Facebook posting says letters were left at the office demanding that Johnson resign.
He was one of several Republican senators who pledged to object to the presidential election results. Johnson has conceded that Joe Biden won Wisconsin’s electoral votes.
There has been no formal reply from his office.
