Sophomore Tyler Wahl hit back-to-back 3-pointers in the second overtime period to lead Wisconsin to an 80-73 decision over Indiana Thursday night.
D’Mitrik Trice led the Badgers with 21 points. Wisconsin’s third straight win improves its record to 10-and-2 overall, 4-and-1 in conference games. The Badgers have beaten Indiana 18 straight times at the Kohl Center.
Hoosier standout Trayce Jackson-Davis scored 23 and took down a dozen rebounds, but he was held to just one point in the two overtimes. The Hoosiers were playing without injured starting guard Armaan Franklin.
Things don’t get any easier for Wisconsin. They go on the road next week for games at Michigan and Rutgers, a pair of ranked conference opponents.
