Grow it Forward in Manitowoc has announced that there will be another iteration of the USDA’s Farmers to Family Food Box Program.
Amber Daugs, the Executive Director of the local organization, said that they were informed yesterday (Wednesday) by Feeding America about the 5th round of the program. Food distribution is expected to begin in 2-3 weeks and last through April.
Grow it Forward will still have an onsite pantry available Thursdays-Fridays from 2:00-4:00 pm and Saturdays from 9:00-11:00 am by appointment only and registration is required. Call 920-645-9467 to register for that program.
Daugs also said that their Community Meal on Mondays at their 1501 Marshall St. location will be available at 5:00 pm to be consistent with their partner First Presbyterian Church’s Community Meal on Wednesdays.
