A 21-year-old man was injured early this afternoon in what authorities are calling a mechanical accident in Sheboygan County.
The Sheboygan County Emergency Communications Center received a 911 call at approximately 12:20 p.m. stating that the victim was working with an auger drilling a well when possibly a piece of clothing may have gotten entangled in the equipment causing injury.
He was transported to Aurora Grafton Medical Center for treatment. His name or extent of injuries have not been released.
Agencies responding to the scene were the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department, Oostburg Fire Department, and Orange Cross Ambulance.
