Both U-Conn and the Marquette Golden Eagles will be coming off victories when they meet at the Fiserv Forum tonight (Tuesday) for a Big East Conference game.
It will be the first meeting between the two programs in nearly eight years.
The Huskies bring a 4-1 record into the 8:00 p-m showdown and are led in scoring by 6′ 5″ sophomore guard James Bouknight who is averaging a little over 23 points-a-game.
U-Conn struggles from outside the arc, connecting on less than a third of its 3-pointers.
Senior Koby McEwen leads the Eagles in scoring with 13.5 points-a-game. Marquette (6-5) is led in rebounding by 6′ 11″ freshman Dawson Garcia at 7.3 boards-a-game.
