2020 may have been a year to forget in many ways, but there were some positive stories to come out of the year as well.
For example, the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign saw Manitowoc County residents open up their wallets and donate to an organization well known for their service to the less fortunate.
The final numbers were released yesterday, and out of their $130,000 goal, the Salvation Army of Manitowoc County raised $132,388.24.
In a Facebook post, the organization thanked the bell ringers, donors, kettle hosts, those who helped count the donations, and everyone who made it possible.
