When the Wisconsin men’s hockey team hosts border rival Minnesota Saturday it will be the first action for the Badgers in more than a month.
Despite being idled by the coronavirus pandemic since December 4th, coach Tony Granato’s squad moved up two spots in the U-S-C-H-O ranks this week, checking in at number 12.
This weekend’s opponents, the Gophers, are ranked number one and are undefeated in nine games.
The U-W women’s team holds on to its number-one ranking after sweeping Minnesota State last weekend.
The women start a series against Ohio State Friday night at La Bahn Arena.
