Now that there is snow on the ground, many people are itching to get out and start sledding or skiing.
Peninsula State Park in Door County is working on their cross-country trails near Fish Creek, and they say that they expect them to be ready for this holiday weekend.
The cross-country trails at Potawatomi and Whitefish Dunes State Parks are not being groomed at last word. Some other trails could also be closed due to ongoing logging operations.
The sledding hill at Peninsula State Park will likely not be ready, as they say, they need more snowfall to occur.
