Many players with N-B-A potential don’t stay in college basketball very long, and that has set up an unusual situation involving the Wisconsin Badgers.
Wisconsin’s starting lineup for Monday’s game against Maryland was actually older than the N-B-A Chicago Bulls.
At an average age of 22.6 years, the Badgers are a full year older than the Bulls players.
Under current N-C-A-A guidelines, all five Wisconsin starters could also return next year – if they make that choice.
Bulls rookie Patrick Williams is 19 years old and he’s the youngest player in the starting lineup for either team.
