A second veteran Manitowoc City Council member has announced that he will not be seeking re-election in April.
3rd District Alderman Jeremiah Novak filed his notification of non-candidacy.
This follows a similar announcement on Monday by 2nd District Alderman Scott McMeans.
According to City Clerk Deborah Neuser, anyone who is interested in running for any of the available aldermanic seats, or for the office of Mayor, must file their nomination papers no later than next Tuesday, January 5th.
