A woman was arrested in Manitowoc Sunday evening after she allegedly slashed the tires on a car.
Officers were dispatched to the Meijer location in Manitowoc just before 10:00 PM on a report of disorderly conduct. The caller they were driving there because they were being followed by a woman, who ended up slashing the victim’s tires after she parked.
The 33-year-old suspect claimed that the victim’s car was stolen, and she was trying to help her friend get it back.
The victim’s boyfriend had recorded a segment of the encounter on his phone and showed it to the officer. The video clearly showed the suspect stabbing the rear tires, so she was arrested on charges of Disorderly Conduct, Criminal Damage to Property, and 6 counts of Felony Bail Jumping.
