The Manitowoc Public School District has announced that they have approved the bringing of the second phase of their reopening plan.
The plan was unanimously approved at their meeting yesterday.
On top of the expansion of the first phase, the MPSD is also asking parents to complete a survey, which will allow them to voice their learning preference for when the new grading criteria allows for a return to a blended model.
Phase 2 includes a full in-person return for students who met the criteria for IEP, the implementation of in-person learning for other individuals as approved by the administration, the resumption of co-curricular that meet safety guidelines, and athletes participating in competition within the FRCC.
