Having seven players named to this year’s Pro Bowl is an indicator of how good Green Bay’s 11-and-3 season has been, but quarterback Aaron Rodgers thinks that number should be nine.
Rodgers says he’s “bummed out” because tight end Robert Tonyan and center Corey Linsley were left out.
He says there are a lot of good tight ends, but he doesn’t understand why Tonyan wasn’t included – especially since 49ers star George Kittle missed most of the season and Tonyan has scored 10 touchdowns. He’s caught the pass nearly 90-percent of the times he was targeted.
Linsley has missed three games with an injury, but he was statistically the best center in the N-F-L in the first 11 games of the season.
