Existing home sales continued to surge in Wisconsin as mortgage rates hit a new record low in November, setting Wisconsin on a record pace for sales.
That, according to the Wisconsin Realtors’ Association, occurred during a time when low inventory levels pushed home prices even higher.
Statewide, home sales and the median price rose 15.2 and 15.8% compared to their levels 12-months earlier.
Manitowoc real estate numbers show the median prices increased by over 7.5% to $142,000, sales went up 34% to 106, inventory dropped by nearly one half and the average days on the market fell by 24% in November, as compared to the same month in 2019.
For the first 11-months of this year, sales went up by 7% and the median price rose by almost 11% when measured against the same period last year.
