A man has been arrested by the Manitowoc Police Department after they learned that he had sexually assaulted a young girl multiple times.
The victim told medical personnel that the 61-year-old man had sexually assaulted the child between 15 and 20 times over the last 5 years in both Manitowoc and Green Bay.
The victim described the man groping her on the outside of her clothing, and recent attempts at sexual penetration. She said that he would touch her inappropriately while she slept and offered to buy her gifts.
The man denied the assaults occurred but was arrested on charges of Engaging in Repeated Acts of Sexual Assault of the Same Child, and two counts of Sexual Assault of a Child.
