Governor Tony Evers calls one of the two bills he has sent to lawmakers a “compromise” to address the COVID-19 pandemic.
He sent a letter to Republican leaders of the Senate and Assembly pushing for agreement on what he calls “pressing issues” before the end of the year.

Evers says he hopes “at the very least” the compromise bill will be sent to his desk “without delay.”
