With Christmas just a couple of days away, gas prices have surged just a little.
According to the AAA Gas Gauge, the average price per gallon of gas in the state rose by 13 cents from last week up to $2.11, and that is right around where the average is in the surrounding counties.
Manitowoc’s average price is currently at $2.01, while Sheboygan is at $2.08. Calumet County is at $2.05, Outagamie County is up to $2.10, as is Brown County. Kewaunee County’s average price per gallon is up to $2.08, and Door County is at $2.11.
Wisconsin’s is a bit below the national average, which currently sits at $2.24.
