The City Council is the only government group scheduled to gather this week in Two Rivers.
They will be gathering at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers this evening, where they will be welcoming Katherine Dahlke, who will be addressing the potential creation of a local arts council, and a Civic Internship Program for local high school, trade school, and college or university students.
They will also be discussing holiday closings and modified hours for city departments before they appoint seven citizen members to the previously announced Splash Pad and Ice Rink Planning Committee.
The Council will also be entering a closed session, where they will be discussing possible city assistance to some unspecified economic development projects and the status of the former Hamilton property negotiations.
This is the only meeting this week in the Cool City.
