The Two Rivers City Manager is asking for the help of the citizens of his community.
During his Two Rivers City Update on WOMT and wcub Radio yesterday morning, Greg Buckley asked citizens of the city to take an online survey, which is the first step in the process to update their 10-year comprehensive plan.
The survey, which is about community land use and zoning issues, can be found by clicking here.
Buckley explained that all municipalities have comprehensive plans.
“They really take a 20-year perspective on future development, and redevelopment of the community, land use patterns, public infrastructure, that sort of thing,” he said. “It’s not only a good practice, but requirements of state law in some regards is that these plans be reviewed and updated on a 10-year basis.”
Buckley said that they adopted their Comprehensive Plan in 2010, so they are “right on schedule as far as review and update” of that plan.
The survey will be available until January 4th.
