A Dodge County judge has set sentencing for a man who admits killing his wife for next April.
33-year-old Ulisses Medina Espinosa pleads guilty to a charge of first-degree intentional homicide.
Espinosa entered a Beaver Dam home in March 2019 and shot Stacia Hollinshead more than a dozen times.
The couple’s five-year-old daughter was present and was able to give investigators extensive details about the killing.
Medina will get a mandatory life sentence under Wisconsin statutes, but it is being recommended he be allowed to petition for release after he serves 50 years.
