There is no denying that this year has been rather difficult for everyone, but especially students.
They have been separated from their friends and classmates, and have had to learn via their computer screens, which for some is not the best way to learn.
In response to this crazy year, the Green Bay School District has lowered the graduation requirements to the state-mandated level.
Prior to the change, seniors need to accumulate a total of 22 credits throughout their high school career. Now they only need 15, four of which must be English credits, three of social studies, three in math, three in science, 1.5 of physical education, and half a credit of health education. Credits in personal financial literacy, as well as elective credits, are no longer required to graduate.
These changes only apply to this school year.
