A Roncalli athlete has signed a national letter of intent to play collegiate softball. Senior Maddie Hablewitz will be playing softball at Ripon College.
The local high school issued a release saying that the daughter of DJ and Sara Hablewitz was a three-sport athlete at Roncalli, playing volleyball and basketball as well as softball.
Maddie had a .480 career batting average while playing catcher, center field, and shortstop for the Jets.
Maddie said she plans to pursue a degree in physical therapy at Ripon.
