A former cheerleading coach in Manitowoc has been sentenced to 10 and a half years behind bars.
30-year-old Eric J. Fisher was convicted on charges of Using a Computer to Facilitate a Child Sex Crime and two counts each of Soliciting an Intimate Representation of a Minor and Exposing a Child to Harmful Material.
Fisher will serve 6 years on the first charge and received 1.5 more years on three of the other charges, but a sentence was withheld on the second Exposing charge.
He will also spend an additional 9 and a half years on extended supervision after he is released from the State Prison System.
According to police reports, Fisher attempted to have sex with a 15-year-old child in 2019 and was caught due to a sting operation by the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office.
