Former Milwaukee Police Chief Alfonso Morales still wants his job back.
Morales’ legal team is asking Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Christopher Foley to reinstate him with full back pay and benefits.
His lawyers point to an admission by Milwaukee City Attorney Tearman Spencer that Morales was denied due process when he was demoted from the chief of police last August.
The Fire and Police Commission is expected to vote on a new chief at a meeting today (Thursday).
The last vote ended in a tie.
