Students in the Ashwaubenon School District can now see a light at the end of the tunnel. The School Board announced a plan on Wednesday that aims to get the children back in classrooms in about a month.
As has been the problem for many venues and events, the uncertainty of the pandemic keeps that from being a guarantee, but the plan has a target date of January 11th.
Their plan is similar to the one announced by the Manitowoc Public School District earlier this week, as elementary students would be phased in throughout the week, with a full return late in the week.
Secondary students would come back in a hybrid model and the district will reassess that strategy at the start of the second semester later in January.
