The Manitowoc Public School District Board of Education met last night, and one of the big topics of discussion was a return to in-person learning.
Phase One of their return to school plan was approved, and some students will be allowed back. This phase will only affect students with Individualized Education Programs, or IEP’s, and other students on a case by case basis.
Parents of students have spoken out previously about how their children are struggling with the virtual learning model, despite being good students prior.
Superintendent Mark Holzman is scheduled to speak with us this morning to issue more details about the return to school plan.
