Today is a big day for the workers at Holy Family Memorial Hospital in Manitowoc, as the 34th Annual Love Light Tree event will take place this evening.
As we mentioned yesterday, the event is going to be a little different this year. Monica Nicheter of HFM told SeehaferNews.com, “When we were blessed and were able to celebrate live, we would have people gather in the atrium of the hospital and participate. There would be short speeches, a prayer, musical interludes, we had a veteran physically light, there would be more musical interludes, and then a closing of the ceremony, and of course there would be refreshments afterward.”
While people will not be allowed in the atrium, Nicheter said they will still have musical interldes with, in her words, “The beautiful voices of the Roncalli singers.”
There are still a couple of ways people can enjoy the event. The event will begin at 5:00 PM, and can be viewed on the Holy Family Memorial Facebook page, and can be listened to on 97.1 FM WCUB, or at CubRadio.com.
