Governor Tony Evers and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation are applauding an expansion of the Molson Coors facility in Milwaukee.
The expansion is expected to bring 377 jobs to Milwaukee and retain nearly 1300 jobs for eight years. The project will be designated as an enterprise zone eligible for up to 25-million dollars in state tax credits. The new jobs will have an average wage of $57 an hour and the company plans to invest $2.8 million on its campus.
Evers said, “Molson Coors—and its predecessor Miller Brewing—have been part of Wisconsin’s history for nearly 165 years. With this agreement, we can look forward to keeping another iconic Wisconsin business in our state for many years to come.”
