It was quite the sight on Green Bay’s west side yesterday morning, as water spewed from a water main.
According to city officials, a contractor was working on replacing a traffic light at the intersection of West Mason and 12th Streets, when they accidentally struck a water main.
Water erupted from the pipe, and flooded the roadway for around 30 minutes until crews could fix the issue.
The main was one of the biggest in the city, so it took some time to repair.
Reports indicate that no one was hurt and that no businesses or homes lost water service during the incident.
