
The City of Manitowoc has announced all of the seats that will be up for grabs in the coming Spring Election.
According to City Clerk Deborah Neuser, the Aldermanic seats in District 1, 2, 3, 7, and 10 will all be challenged, as will the mayoral seat. The seats on the City Council each include a two-year term, which will expire on April 19th, 2021, while the Mayor’s four-year term expires on the same day.
The first date to circulate nomination papers was December 1, 2020, and the final day for filing nomination papers is 5 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, in the office of the City Clerk.
If a primary is necessary, the primary will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2021.
