December may be the season of giving, but it’s typically a challenging time to collect enough blood donations. With COVID-19 added in, this could be even tougher than usual. The American Red Cross is urging those feeling well to give-the-gift of life by donating blood or platelets this holiday season. There are three giving opportunities later this month in the city of Manitowoc.
–Thursday, December 17th…2-to-6pm at Grace Lutheran Church, 2426 N. Rapids Road.
–Tuesday, Dec. 22nd….Noon to 5pm at the Manitowoc-Two Rivers YMCA.
–Monday, Dec. 28th…12:30 to 4:30pm at Shoreline Credit Union, 4400 Calumet Avenue.
