A Manitowoc woman was arrested on Monday after she was found unconscious and twitching in a vehicle.
The Manitowoc Police Department was informed of the situation at around 7:30 PM, and officers were sent to the area of Madison and South 12th Streets. Officers noted that when they arrived they saw a leg sticking out of the driver’s side door shaking, and the 49-year-old woman laying across both seats.
The woman sat up as officers addressed her, and they noted that her pupils were dilated, indicating that she was under the influence of a substance. The officers noticed a canister of keyboard cleaner in the vehicle and determined that she had huffed the substance.
She has been charged with Abuse of a Hazardous Substance, and one count each of Felony and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
