The man whose arrest brought on protests in Madison last summer has pleaded guilty to three charges.
29-year-old Devonere Johnson was sentenced to 90 days in jail on each charge, but won’t spend any more time behind bars because he has credit for time already served.
Johnson pleaded guilty Monday to being a party to the crime of criminal damage to the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Memorial, disorderly conduct, and resisting an officer.
He will have to pay restitution for the damage done to the memorial.
He will also be on federal supervision for the next two years after pleading guilty in October to extorting a business.
