A Manitowoc man was arrested over the weekend after he allegedly harmed his girlfriend while in possession of at least one handgun.
The victim called police at around 10:00 PM on Sunday, and officers were dispatched to the home in the 800 block of Summit Street.
The victim told officers that the suspect, a 30-year-old man, was in possession of two handguns. The man complied when officers asked him to place them on the ground and walk to them with his hands in the air.
The victim said the duo had gotten into an argument, and that the man had pinned her in a door frame with the door, all while the handguns were in his pocket.
The man was arrested on charges of Endangering Safety by Use of a Dangerous Weapon, and Battery with a Domestic Violence Enhancer.
