The year 2020 has been hard on everybody with the COVID-19 outbreak.
Police Chief Brian Kohlmeier explains it has affected his department too. “We’ve had 9-to-10 members of this staff affected by COVID-19 since the pandemic began,” he told SeehaferNews.com. “But it has not affected our staffing levels or anything like that.”
Kohlmeier says that’s primarily due to the precautions put into place. “Of course, the mask-wearing, when you’re outside your work area, sanitation protocols,” he said. “I can’t say that enough of how effective it is in preventing the spread of the virus.”
The Two Rivers chief of police added the mask-wearing internally has proven, at least to them to be a factor in the virus not spreading within his agency.
