A combine caught fire Wednesday evening on a Door County roadway.
According to a Facebook post by the Door County Sheriff’s Office, the piece of farm equipment caught fire at around 5:00 PM on Martin Road, between Dunn and Windermere Drives.
Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the blaze, but the process of removing the combine from the roadway took several hours.
The road was closed to traffic during the duration of the incident but has since been reopened.
