Bail is set at $500 cash for a 30-year-old Manitowoc man facing charges after a routine traffic stop Tuesday afternoon.
Kyle E. Peterson is charged with Possession of Marijuana, Methamphetamine, a Schedule Two Narcotic, and Drug Paraphernalia, all with Drug Repeater Enhancers, as well as Carrying a Concealed Knife and four Counts of Felony Bail Jumping.
Officers pulled over a vehicle in the parking lot of the A-Store on North 11th Street after noticing the brake lights weren’t working and Peterson, a passenger in te vehicle, wasn’t wearing his seatbelt.
Authorities discovered that Peterson was wanted on outstanding warrants with a subsequent search revealing he had multiple items on his person including a concealed knife with a four-inch blade, Meth, pot, and drug paraphernalia.
Conditions of bail are that Peterson possess no weapons and maintain absolute sobriety. He remains in the County Jail with an initial appearance scheduled for December 7th at 1:30 PM.
